Any private person with an e-mail address may place a free ad. The ad must be about Volvos. There is no formal limit to the length of an ad, but please be polite and don't make your ad longer than necessary.

Simply e-mail the text of your ad to editor@vclassics.com. We will try to post it within 24 hours whenever possible. If a new issue is due out soon, we may hold your ad for a week or so in order to give it a longer run on the New Ads page.

Do not type your ad in ALL CAPS!!! Doing so will delay your ad being posted.

We will link your ad to one photo (optional). Attach a JPG photo to your e-mail. GIFs will work, but won't look as nice. If necessary, feel free to contact us for details.

Ads do not expire automatically. Your ad will run as long as it's useful to you. We will check with you periodically to ensure you want to continue your ad. Please try to let us know on your own if you no longer need the ad. If you encounter an obsolete ad, please let us know that as well so we can remove it.

Ads are moved to Older Ads pages once per issue. This is to keep each page's download time reasonable. Do not overlook the Older Ads -- there's nothing less desireable about what's listed there. Substantive changes to an older ad (price reductions, etc.) will move it back onto the New Ads page.

Cars for Sale are listed by model type and year, oldest on top. Within a single model year, the newest ad is on top.

Parts for Sale, Parts Wanted, and Cars Wanted ads are listed with the newest ad on top.
