1962 P1800 #346 for sale. Restoration project not started except for door replacement. Not for the faint of heart. Bought it for the low ser# value. Mostly complete, but I haven't really looked it over carefully -- you do it. Rust work etc -- but only external as far as I can see. $1500 as is.

Chrome/rubber very good to excellent. Completely new interior w/leather seats. New hoses and belts. 1971 Volvo 1800E for sale: Tires good, have original mags, 25,000 mi. on rebuilt engine. Paint - base coat/clear coat resin sealer undercoated, re-upholstered seats w/lumbar support. Needs flex coupling between steering box and steering wheel, passenger door replaced (have paint). Door panels need recovering (I have supplies needed). Must sell - asking US $3,600.

1972 1800ES. I bought the car from my father-in-law in 1983. He purchased the car brand-new in 1972. I have the original invoice and 1972 sales literature. I used the car as a daily driver from 1983 to 1991 and it's been sitting in my garage since then. I got tired of watching it sit so I started to restore it last March. All of the rust has been cut-out and replaced with metal by the same craftsman who restored Pierre Elliot Trudeau's Mercedes. I've spent $5000 on the metal work and there's definitely no rust to worry about. The worst part of the restoration is done and the rest will be easy for you, if you're up to it. I have plenty of pictures of the car before and after the metal work. Please contact me if you're interested in taking this project to completion. (The car has only 65,000 miles on it!) Offers. 1972 1800E. 4-speed with overdrive, fuel injection, working a/c (factory installed), many new parts (alternator, spark plugs, fuel lines, fuel pump, gas tank, and more), interior excellent (driver's seat needs to be resewn), 145,000 miles, needs new rear muffler and the clutch is going. Body has some rust, some repaired rusted areas, and one major rusted area under driver's seat. Has all chrome, grill, lights and other details. It has been repainted a slightly lighter yellow than the original mustard about 10 years ago. I also have its lifelong documentation as I am only the 3rd owner.
