"Ultimate" Street Cruiser:

Dave Rauch's 1962 544

Air conditioning vents under the dash are an unusual sight in PVs. Seats are late-model 1800 recliners with custom upholstery. Note the large tach at upper left...
Rear seating looks almost as inviting as the front. Naw, just kidding -- we want to be in front driving it!
Here we see the two-liter motor and Dave's neat installation of the air conditioning compressor and plumbing. The engine sports a "D" cam inside and a header outside.
The pop-up sunroof isn't exactly standard equipment either. This car has won numerous shows and has often been featured in club magazines.
Color of the car is "California White." From the rear it looks pretty conventional except for the "Overdrive" trim plate. Other mods include front disk brakes.
