This painting by artist and designer Sune Envall portrays an event so typical not so long ago, all over the world. At least where automobiles and winter conditions mixed. The scene is set in old Stockholm. Sune informs us that while the fish shop on the right is on that street, artistic license allowed for its move of 50 meters. The good old days may have been both good and old, but tires have come a long way since then and in the case of Volvos in some markets, there is no longer the need to worry about carburetors that sometimes rather charmingly either iced up or set fires.
