Because: The articles are not the same! While there will be some overlap, many will appear in print first. We'll also feature some of our best "oldies" that are not in the Archive. The photos are not the same! Ever seen that car on the left before? Do you know it has a Volvo motor? Want to know more about it? The ads are not the same! Classified ads in the print edition are free only to subscribers. Communicate with the 70% of buyers and sellers who are not on line! The artwork's not the same! Web graphics are low-resolution. Print graphics are sharp and clear. We capitalize on that advantage...

Each medium offers its own advantages - the web is better in some ways; print is better in other ways - why not have the best of each? (not to mention that the two versions come out on alternate months...)
